Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Launches TAG-Cloud; A Private Cloud Serving TAG-Org Community and Clients

AMMAN --- October 15, 2014 --- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) announced the launch of its private cloud “TAG-Cloud”, which will enable TAG-Org to migrate all of its applications, systems, and enterprise software to state of the art Cloud Infrastructures. TAG-Cloud will save power, resources and costs, and will ensure flexibility and agility in education, business and competitiveness in the global new market, while taking into account security, monitoring and scalability.

TAG-Cloud will help more rapidly deliver TAG-Org professional and educational services to TAG-Org community and clients including Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University (TAGIUNI). It will provide its students with access to learning resources and facilities of its global educational providers of prestigious universities worldwide. Moreover, TAG-Cloud will offer each user at TAG-Org and every learner at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University remote access to their files, applications, and storage areas from any supported device at any time. TAG-Cloud will also be linked to global educational cloud infrastructures for interoperability and to the pioneering ASHABKEH.com global marketing network project that aims to build verified and documented database, which will provide distinctive advertising services worldwide.

HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh highlighted the move and calling it a serious step forward “It is my pleasure to announce that we have migrated all our operations and services software to TAG-Cloud serving TAG-Org community all over the world.”

Furthermore, TAG-Cloud hosts the Organization’s business services and ICT corporate social responsibility projects (CSR) such as TAGEPEDIA “the first Arabic digital encyclopedia”. TAGEPEDIA’s objective is to enhance the availability of the Arabic language on the Internet, against the severe shortage of the Arab digital content. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society is another CSR project of TAG-Org, which is one of many TAG-Org's initiatives serving student communities.
