European Union Awards Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. Consulting A Contract to spread Awareness Regarding Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

 

 

AMMAN-------September 17, -----Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. Consulting (TAG-Consult), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) was awarded a one-year contract by the European Union for the implementation of a Communications Strategy Awareness Plan and Campaign for the wide promotion of Renewable Energy technologies and Energy Efficiency measures,  under the EU ‘Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Programme in Jordan - REEE, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR).

 

According to the contract, TAG-Consult will utilize its resources and expertise in delivering a comprehensive strategy that will cover the Kingdom and spread awareness on the use of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, through a set of marketing tools and market research that will touch the life of members of the society.

 

HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG-Org Chairman said:" We are really happy to join hands with the European Union in delivering the best practice regarding Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, as we believe that the Jordanian society still needs to know more about the benefits of saving energy and using alternative free and environmentally friendly resources."

 

The selection of TAG-Consult was conducted after a tendering procedure and evaluation that included other companies.

 

An official announcement of the start of the awareness campaign will be publicized in the coming days and will include audio and visual tools with visits to several governorates in the Kingdom.

 

The project is funded by the EU, under the Sector Policy Support Programme, and implemented by the EU Technical Assistance project (TA to REEE).
